For the purpose of pension, employment period will be calculated as follows:-
(a) In the case of teachers who have been in the teaching profession since before the implementation of the National Education System Plan 2028, if they have been permanently appointed in a licensed school before the implementation of the plan and have worked continuously and entered the school education service, the period of permanent employment before the implementation of the National Education System Plan will also be counted. will be done.
(b) In the case of a teacher who entered the school education service after taking a permanent appointment as a government teacher, the period of employment will be counted as well.
(c) In the case of teachers who enter the teaching profession after the implementation of the National Education System Plan, the total period of continuous employment will be calculated by taking a permanent appointment in the school.
(d) Notwithstanding anything written in clauses (a), (b) and (c), the period of being on extraordinary leave or being on leave or absent from school without sanction of leave or work shall not be counted as employment period.
(e) While calculating the permanent employment period, if there is a break between the permanent service period, then the broken period will be deducted.
(f) If a person who has retired once to receive pension is re-appointed to the post of teacher, the previous service period will be counted if he wishes.
